How to change your background?
Hello Chobots!
This is a guide for all of you users out there who don't know how to change their background.
Follow these simple steps to do so!
1. Open your playercard by clicking on your Chobot and click your current background.

Follow these simple steps to do so!
1. Open your playercard by clicking on your Chobot and click your current background.
2. After you click on your background, your backpack should open in the right hand corner of your screen.
3. Now simply choose the background you like and click on ' Use '.
4. After that your background will automatically change into the one you picked.
That is how you change your background!

Two new contests!
Hello Chobots!
I am here to inform you about two (!) new contests!
Let's start from the first one.
If you have visited the main blog recently, you may have seen that our Staff members have started a new contest.
This time it is something completely different, an interview competition!
All you have to do is take an interview of any user of your choice and post as a comment in this post.
However, you don't have to just paste the questions and answers, you can also creative and make perhaps a newspaper article or make a short video. It's up to you to decide.
The entries will be judged on the quality of the interview and the presentation may take a part in the final decision as well.
The second contest is held by one of the well-known users from both Chobots.com and Chobots.net, Newy82!
To enter his contest, you are required to draw his Chobot avatar (picture is given below).
You can do it by hand in real life, programs on the computer or perhaps on the citizen/agent/artist wall on Chobots!

New item!
Hello Chobots!
Today while I was chatting with my friends in Cafe Street, Zoo came online for a couple of minutes to see how everyone was doing.
The first thing that I have noticed were his new wings!
They look very romantic and Valentine-ish.
If you are a member of the Chobots Forum, you might recognize these wings, as they were made by the well-known user Domidor!

Shocking news:

Updates, updates and... more updates!
Hello Chobots!
As a few Staff members have mentioned, this will be the month with most updates in Chobots since its beginning!
Like usually, new month brings new server names. As February is the 'month of love', we have some LOVEly and interesting new names.
Our developers have also been working on a brand new update for citizens, UI color change!
You simply choose a color you like and it will be set as your new UI color.
To do so, go to 'Menu' in the top right hand corner of your screen, you will then see an option ' Game color'. There you can either pick a color of your choice or choose the 'Default UI color' which means that your UI will stay the same.
I think that it is great that the color change is optional, as I know that some of you would like your UI to stay as it is.
I cannot wait for to see more cool updates!

Hello Chobots!
Littlemiss here with more interesting news to share with you.
It seems like our team has been quite busy these few weeks, making the cool new updates!
As February is also called 'The month of love' as the Valentines day is celebrated on the 14th, the Chobots team has added some very nice looking new citizenship items!
For one month citizenship we have the cool snowboard with Nichos and Chobots on it.
The six month citizenship includes the futuristic Galactic Explorer outfit, it looks amazing!
And, last but not least, my favorite, Loveanator outfit! It looks very Valentine-ish, decorated with pink and red.
The news have also been updated, and let's just say that this is going to be a very exciting month!
From many different parties and contests to the most awaited event of all, 'Classified'.
What do you think will happen on the 25th?

Agent meeting
Hello Chobots!
This is an announcement for all the agents out there!
The agent meeting will occur this Saturday (February 2nd).
There will be two meetings, one at 1pm Cho-time and the other at 11pm Cho-time.
The agents will be discussing recommendations, updates, suggestions,bugs, feedbacks etc. with the Staff members.
It is not mandatory that you come, but I recommend that you do, as it will show your dedication and commitment.
I hope to see all of my fellow teammates there! =)

How to make your Chobots sticker
Hello Chobots!
I was going through some old pictures from Chobots, when I saw a big cake in a shape of a Chobot named 3looi.
Here it is:
That made me think about all the fun things we can make at our home, and I came up with an interesting idea. Chobots stickers!
You can decorate your room, notebooks, boxes, walls et cetera!
Putting these stickers does NOT harm any materials as they are NOT being glued to them. You can take the stickers off at any time without damaging the item that it is placed on.
Here is what you will need:

That made me think about all the fun things we can make at our home, and I came up with an interesting idea. Chobots stickers!
You can decorate your room, notebooks, boxes, walls et cetera!

Here is what you will need:
- sticky colored paper ( the one on which you have to take the back side off to get to the sticky one. The back should be sticky on the WHOLE paper, not just the top part like on the sticky-notes)
- a pencil
- an eraser
- a ruler
- paper any size, depending on the width and height of the color paper
- crayons
- glue
- scissors
Today I am making Chobots spaceship sticker, but you can make anything else that you like!
Follow these steps to create your own Chobots sticker:
1.
Place your sticky colored paper ( I chose blue one, you can choose any color you like) on your white paper to see how wide and high your drawing can be.

2.
Draw anything you like, I decided to draw a spaceship with Chobot inside of it.
3.
If you want your sticker to be cool and to stand out, use crayons and color it with some bright colors!
4.
Use scissors and carefully cut off your colored drawing from the white paper. For safety matters, ask an adult to help you.
5.
Great! Now that you have finished your drawing, place it on top of the BACK side of the sticky colored paper (on the side that you take off to get to the sticky layer) and go over the outline using your pencil, so the shape of your drawing is on the back side of your sticky colored paper.
6.
Carefully cut out the shape from the sticky colored paper so you get two same shaped papers. Ask an adult to help you if it is needed.
When you turn around the sticky colored paper it should look like this:
7.
Put glue on the front side (blue side) of your sticky colored paper.
8.
Place the drawing on the glued sticky colored paper and leave it to dry out for a few minutes.
It should look like this:
9.
Take off the back white layer, so your drawing is sticky on one side.
Take it off like this:
( The side that is on the desk is the drawing and sticky color paper glued together, the one that is being taken off is the white back of the colored sticky paper)
10.
Now you are finished!
If you have a drawing glued to the colored side of the colored sticky paper on one side, and sticky side of the colored sticky paper on the other, you have successfully made your Chobots sticker!
You can place it on the wall:
Or perhaps you can decorate your notebook:
You can also create different stickers! Take a look at the one I have made.
Pretty cool, right?
You can place them where ever you want, it's up to you to decide.

As Valentines day is approaching, the Chobots Team has decided to host a drawing contest on the main blog!
The only thing you are required to do is draw at least one of the four staff members listed below.
You can draw by hand in real life or you can create it on the computer, it's up to you!
It doesn't matter if you are good or bad at drawing, because the winners will be chosen based on creativity and imagination, so try to be as original as you can.
Here are my two entries, I hope you like them:

Interview of the week
Hello Chobots!
As I have announced last week, I will be doing weekly interviews with different users that I admire in some way.
This week I have asked our illustrator Justin, known as Bit on Chobots.net, a few questions that I thought might be interesting for you to read.

Bit: I joined Chobots around the end of 2008 because mimo777 advertised it when I played Club penguin.2. How long have you been a designer for Chobots.net and what is your favorite item from the ones that you have designed?
Bit: I started working for Chobots during month of February 2012. My favorite item I designed is actually not one created, but concepted! It was the Giga suit, highly popular on Chobots.com.3. What do you like and dislike the most about Chobots.net?
I like the community in Chobots.net, they're what makes the game special and we wouldn't be far without them. I don't like how we don't have the skills to make new mini games yet!4. What was the first item that you have designed and how long did it take you to become a 'professional'?
Bit: The first item that I ever drew for Chobots.com was just a plain t-shirt but I liked it! The first item I designed for Chobots.net was a sackboy suit I believe, and the first item I made was the fire/water suit I designed which is still never released because of how glitchy it was! I've been designing for Chobots for almost 5 years now, so I think that I still have much room for improvement.5. Have you got any advice for the users who dream of becoming designers like yourself one day?
Bit: Keep working, it'll get to the point where people might not care if you design or not, but don't give up! You'll get good enough one day and you'll be seen for your hard work and dedication. It took me 4 years!6. Who is your favorite staff member, agent, citizen, junior? Why?
Bit: My favorite staff member: me7. If you had to describe yourself with 5 words, what words would you use?
Favorite agent: me when I was an agent
Favorite citizen: me when I was a citizen
Favorite junior: me when I was a junior
