Hello Chobots!

Today sure was a very exciting day on Chobots, as Max threw a one-hour party in the Cafe Street!

There was a lot of rain, magic and of course, music!

Everyone had a blast, and if you missed it, here are some party pictures that I hope will show you at least a little piece of the fun we had!

March is coming to an end and April is approaching, which means some changes will be made!

April is best known for the 'April fools day', 1st day of this month, where people play practical jokes on their friends ending it with 'April fools!''. 

As Chobots is a fun game full of cheerful users and staff members, they thought that it would be the best to host a party right on April fools day!

Hai Cho's!
 Today,I am gonna teach you how to add someone on Chobots.



First,click his/hers playercard.Then you will see the green + button,that button is called "add button".Click it and then click "ok".

The Chobot you wanted to add will get a message (friend request) and if he/she wants to be your friend he/she will accept and you will become his/hers friend.

Now,many Chobots asked me different questions about adding.
Here are some of them.

"Sometimes,I press the add button but I get a message saying that his/hers friend list is full.How can friend list be full and how much friends can we have?"

Well,if you get that message that means that Chobot can not add more friends and that that Chobot can not add you.Juniors can have 150 and less friends,citizens can have 400 and less,agents 450 and less, mods can have as many fiends as they want,their friend list is unlimited .

"If I become someones friend,what can I do?"

Well,by becoming someones friend you can send him/her a message,see if he/she is online send him/her a message while he/she is offline, pc her/him at any time you want (unless he/she is off).

"Where do I see if my friends are online or offline?"

Well,you can check all that by clicking "friends" button.It is green and it is next to the typing bar.There,you can see all your online friends,all offline friends and the robots team you are in.

I was wondering, how much do you all really know about our moderator, Yaniv?

Well, now you have the opportunity to learn a few interesting things about him and his position in the Team, as I asked him for an exclusive interview, and he said yes!

Hope you enjoy reading it!

Little: Hey Yaniv!

Yaniv: Hey Little!

Little:  We know that you have been a part of the team for quite a while now. What exactly is your role, as you don't just moderate the game but do other things as well?

Yaniv:  Yes, I am a supporter too - I answer the emails and assist users via Skype. I am also a graphic designer - I design a lot of graphics for the game, for example; background concepts, pictures for the official blog, and the upcoming events pictures. Besides those two jobs, I'm a content manager on the official Chobots.net Facebook & Twitter pages.

Little: We know that your graphic skills has improved a lot. How long did it take you to reach this level and what is the design you're most proud of?

Yaniv: I'm not really sure how long did it take. I started designing graphics a few years ago and at that time my graphics weren't so good. I guess that in the past year I figured how to add more effects and make my graphics better.

Yaniv: The graphics that I'm most proud of are the big graphics that got many details and many people saw them, for example; my headers on my blog, the new TV template, and the Week of Love tracker which was also coded by me and many other different graphics.

Little: What do you see in the future of Chobots, looking from a staff member's perspective?

 Yaniv: In the future of Chobots, I see a bigger community and more cool in-game stuff. I actually have some ideas in mind, gotta design some concepts and then I'll hand them to a developer.

Little:  Do you have any other passions other than graphics designing?

Yaniv: Yes, I want to learn programming languages. At the moment, I know the basics of HTML, but next year I'll be studying Java & C++ in school.

Little:  What do you think about my blog?

Yaniv: The blog is great! I like the different and colorful templates, and the interesting posts!
Fun fact: I designed the header! Try to clear on the Y badge, see what happens!

Hello Chobots!

Recently we had a game night where a lot of users joined in! 
Those who didn't participate in the games were at the Gamezone partying with our Staff members Jake, Blik and Curiosity!

Guess what? We have new clothes in the in-game Shop!

Woohoo! Take a look at these cool new stylish clothing items and tell us which one you like the best!



My personal favorite is the grey-yellow suit! It looks very cool and futuristic and you can also get it for a low price compared to the other outfits similar to it!

Fun fact: Zoo (Zach) said that his favorite outfit is coming to the Shop soon. He obviously meant the gray-yellow one!

If you take a look at the Official Blog, you may notice that the banner has changed!


Instead of being purple, the 'Chobots' logo is now dark green which looks pretty cool.

And look at that, two of our Staff members have been added to it! Blik (Coby) and Strawberry (Julie)!

We haven't had Sliders, Checkers and Chess competitions in quite a while, don't you think?

Well, that's why our Staff members have decided to open all of those 3 and make a new contest, the Academy contest!


James also came to remind us that cheating is not allowed and to watch out for them!

Hello Chobots!

Today is was in Cafe Street with my friends and  guess what I saw:
a baby-mania!

10 different Cho's dressed as babies, saying 'Guu-guu-gaa-gaa' running around.
It was pretty fun to be a part of that group for at least a little while, so I decided to take a picture that might show you a little piece of the fun we all had!



Not all the members of the Gugu gang show on this picture, as some of them were 'crying' in the other corners of the room.

Remember the cool TV contest we had last week? Well, the winners have finally been chosen!

Here we have something completely different and very unique! Coliflower made a gif image with flying Nyan cat and 3 Chobots happily jumping around it! Very creative!

Hello Chobots!

I have exciting news for you all. The Chobots Staff team has gained +2 members!

We aren't sure who they were before, as they said that they aren't allowed to tell, but all we know is that their new accounts names are 'James' and  'Curiosity'.


They're both really nice and always there to help out if it's needed.

As I found out, they have both played this game for quite a while. However, they said that they can't give any more details about their previous accounts.

In other news, a new poll was opened on the Official blog.

It's up to us to decide which contest we would like to be held in April. I voted for the drawing contest, and as it seems, so did 70 other people!

I think drawing contests show creativity and they are a great way to discover hidden talents which many users on Cho have!

1. What are these stars and what are they used for?

If you open your playercard you will see a number written on your star, the number shows what Cho level you are.

Let's remember what exactly  Cho levels are:

-Cho energy is the amount of experience you have on Chobots. You can see your current Cho level on your player card in the lower right hand corner or by clicking on the amount of bugs you have in the upper left hand corner of your screen.

-Cho energy can be earned by playing games, staying online, doing the Nichos mission...

-What level you are depends on the amount of Cho energy that you have. Eg.  You need 4928 cho energy to reach level 28

- To reward users for spending their time earning Cho energy and advancing their Cho level, the team has made a reward system in place for every 4 levels you advance. As you hit the levels: 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, etc. you will get a cool item.


2. Why is that star on my playercard?

Many users have requested that the Cho levels get back on the playercards so they could show other users what level they have reached, which is a show of how hard they have worked to earn the Cho energy. Also, it may encourage others to earn more Cho energy and become a higher level.

3. Why is my star different color than other users'?

The color of your playercard star depends on what Cho level you are. So as you advance, the items you receive and the color of your star gets cooler.

4. What's the limit of Cho energy that I can earn?

Juniors can get their Cho level up to 15. Citizens can get their Cho level up to 60.

Hello Chobots!

I'd just like to wish you all...


The Chobots Team has, as always, made sure that we are always having fun and enjoying Chobots. That's why they have decided to host a new contest that we haven't had in quite a while.
 The 'What's on TV competition'!



                 


Your task is to put a picture or anything that you think would look cool as the picture on the TV. The theme is, obviously, St Patrick's day!

You can put a funny picture, or perhaps one where you and your friends are celebrating it together on Chobots, it's up to you to decide!

Interesting fact: Our mod, Yaniv created this template because he thought that as the game itself becomes better everyday, the template should change to better, aswell!

The contest ends on 19th of March, so you have five days to submit your entries.

That's why I had come up with three unique styles that you may like, and the best thing is that they ALL cost LESS than 2500 bugs!
